Tickets for “Twenty at the Tower”, the summer pop-up benefitting the Fort Worth Food Fort Worth Food & Wine Festival are now on sale.  FWFWF will host chefs to cook intimate dinners for fifty diners each night at the pop-up restaurant event. Tickets are $75 including tax, valet, and ticketing fees. Gratuity will not be included. A different chef will prepare a multicourse menu each night. Drinks are BYOB.  Reata Restaurant’s very own Juan Rodriguez is participating, but we can’t tell you when. It’s a secret.  Shhhhhh.

colonial-First Tee ConcertThe First Tee of Fort Worth is a youth development organization whose Life Skills Curriculum is a scientifically proven means of helping children learn the inherent values present in golf and how those values also translate to real life and real world application. Through their partnership with The Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial, The First Tee of Fort Worth is also able to provide their participants with an “inside the ropes” experience via The First Tee Caddie Days on Monday and Wednesday, managing the short game area all week, and various other opportunities.

In an effort to highlight local musical talent, Fort Worth’s amazing Sundance Square, and to further the experience of their patrons, The Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial is hosting a benefit concert for The First Tee of Fort Worth on Wednesday, May 22nd. The Josh Weathers Band will take the stage at 7:30 PM and fans are invited to enjoy food from Reata Restaurant and cold Michelob Ultra from Frankie’s Bar between 5:30 and 8:30 in the VIP Area.

Reata Alpine names new Manager

Kinsey McClure has been named the new general manager of the Reata in Alpine, TX according to Mike Micallef, president of Reata Restaurants.

McClure has worked at Reata in Sundance Square, downtown Fort Worth for a little over three years. Her earlier restaurant experience includes the Conference Café, Crickets Grill and Draft House and as assistant general manager at the Café Italia in Dallas.

McClure graduated from Texas Tech University in 2002 with a B.A. in public relations.

Reata know for it Texas cuisine provides guests with a unique dining experience in both Fort Worth and Alpine, Texas. Favorite dishes include Tenderloin Tamales, Blackened Buffalo Ribeye and Chicken Fried Steak.
