Reata's July Newsletter
Wednesday, July 28, 6:30 p.m.
The evening takes place in the 35th Room, Reata’s private-dining venue (downstairs at 310 Houston Street) that replicates the space the original Reata once occupied high atop a downtown Fort Worth bank building, complete with the lofty view for which Reata became famous. Four courses will be served, each prepared by a member of Reata’s team of chefs, lead by Juan Rodriguez. Guests will vote on their favorite course, and then autograph a chef’s jacket to be presented to the winning chef.
First course: Texas BBQ stuffed quail with roasted figs
Second course: Baby spinach salad with strawberry vinaigrette, pancetta, gruyere, yellow pear tomatoes and toasted almonds
Third course: Chile-marinated hanger steak, blue cheese potato gratin and grilled asparagus
Fourth course: Very berry fruit napoleon
The evening's four courses, three adult beverage pairings, tax and tip is an all-inclusive $85 per person. Texas Toast will donate $5 in each guest’s name to the Tarrant Area Food Bank.
