Reata Celebrates 10 Years After the Tornado

10th Anniversary of the Tornado in Downtown Fort Worth

Tornado DayTake it from us - blue skies don’t always mean everything’s perfectly fine upstairs. Only an hour or so before a tornado struck our downtown Fort Worth restaurant in March 2000, we were looking out the tower at a sky so pretty and blue it brought tears to our eyes. We didn’t know how hard those tears would fall a few hours later. Thankfully, none of our staff or our customers were hurt that evening. We’ve learned a lot of lessons from that tornado . . . and now, we always take a moment to sit back and soak up those pretty blue Texas skies.

We are lucky enough to be marking our 10 year anniversary of the tornado on March 28th by offering 10 items at $10.00 each. Reata will be featuring items such as the Carne Asada, Chicken Fried Steak and the Tenderloin Tamales. We will also be offering the Texas Tornado Azul for $5.00 that evening. Reservations are strongly recommended... We hope to see everyone that evening!!
