For all you folks missing the Jalapeno Cilantro Soup….well it’s back!! We added it to the menu this fall for everyone to enjoy! We are also happy to announce we have added a new fish option…the Blue Marlin with Roasted Garlic and Crab Cake Remoulade. Come taste what everyone is talking about! The chefs have also added a Braised Lamb Shank with Black Eyed Pea Raguot. This tasty dish will satisfy every lamb lover's appetite! And in the dessert department, we couldn’t resist adding the new Chipotle Brownie served with ice cream. This sweet and spicy combination is a huge hit!

Anybody Interested? Reata Needs Your Input!

Some ideas have been floating around about the possibility of Reata hosting a Chef-attended wine dinner at the restaurant. The idea is that we offer a menu that could be paired with a variety of wines, and we have a Wine Representative and our Reata Chef work together to create a fun Culinary & Vino experience. If you would be interested in attending an event like this, please let us know! If we get a good response, we will contact you and let you know when the event will take place! Email ruki@reata.net.

Reata Alpine

The Alpine Gallery Night is coming. This celebration held on Nov. 21 & 22 provides artists from across the Big Bend region with an opportunity to display their work at official Gallery Night locations. Local craftsmen, students and artisans of all ages participate in the celebration and are on hand to greet visitors and discuss their creations. Their exuberance and dedication are at once exhilarating and contagious.

Reata Alpine is now featuring live music every other Thursday night. Come sit back and enjoy some great food, drinks and music.

We would also like to welcome two new chefs in Alpine. Both of them attended the Texas Culinary Academy in Austin. Alex Acosta joins us from the Cochise Restaurant just down the road in Marfa and Joe Rodriguez is from Cypress Grill in San Antonio.
